SsangYong lands deal to supply SUVs to Iran |

SsangYong Motor Co., Korea's fourth-largest carmaker, said it secured a 179 billion won ($168 million) contract to supply as many as 9,200 Rexton sport-utility vehicles to an Iranian company.
The automaker will initially supply Morattab Industrial Manufacturing Co. with 5,300 Rextons, valued at 103 billion
won, in kit form for assembly in Iran, SsangYong said in a regulatory filing yesterday. The Iranian company has an option to take delivery of the remaining 3,900 vehicles in future.
