Korean car maker Ssangyong intends to double its sales in the UK within the next 18 months and double its
number of dealerships. ... MD of SYUK Cars Bob Barris said: "Last year we sold 950 cars from 45 dealers but
over the next 18 months we expect to be selling over 3000 vehicles from 75 dealers.

The launch of our new larger-than-life Rodius MPV (this summer) is the first step in our product expansion
plan and with further new exciting products in the pipeline we are confident, as are Mitsui, that we will meet
those targets." Ssangyong is currently selling the Rexton 4x4 and the 4x4 Sports Pick-Up.
