South Korean automakers posted a near 17 percent annual increase in sales in November, boosted by healthy
foreign and domestic demand, according to the automakers' monthly statistics Thursday.

The near-term outlook for the automakers is relatively optimistic because of an expected turnaround in domestic
consumption and rising popularity of their vehicles overseas, analysts said.
