Title S. Korea's annual car sales top 5 mln for first time in 2005

Annual car sales by South Korean automakers, led by Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp., surpassed 5 million
units last year for the first time, data showed Monday.

 

South Korean carmakers posted a combined 15.6 percent year-on-year sales rise in 2005, powered by strong exports
and a recovery of domestic sales.
