Title SsangYong Motor sells a total of 7,167 vehicles in October, including domestic sales and exports (including CKDs)

SsangYong Motor (CEO and President Hyung-Tak Choi;www.smotor.com) announced on November 3 that it sold a total
of 7,167 vehicles in October, including 2,818 domestically sold units and 4,349 exported units (including CKDs).

In terms of domestic sales, SsangYong Motor sold 11,600 units of the Chairman W and Chairman H in the large
passenger vehicle market from January to October this year. This is a whopping increase of 40.4 percent from
the 8,261 units sold during the same period the previous year. The Actyon Sports witnessed a monthly decrease
of 4 percent to record sales of 959 units. A total of 236 and 396 units of the Rexton and New Kyron were sold,
respectively.

 

The company exported 4,349 units (including CKDs) during the month. Sales of the Actyon Sports saw a
year-on-year increase of 58.1 percent to reach 895 units. Sales of the Actyon also witnessed a year-on-year
rise of 28.1 percent to post 665 units. A total of 1,419 and 125 units of the New Kyron and New Rodius were
sold, respectively.

 

SsangYong Motor CEO and President Hyung-Tak Choi said, “We will steadily increase the sales volume by
actively using the downturn in diesel prices and by implementing aggressive marketing and export strategies,
despite forecasts of dampened consumption.”
