Ssangyong Motor said Thursday it plans to set up a unit in the Netherlands to supply auto parts for its

customers in Europe.  Ssangyong Motor will establish Ssangyong European Parts Center BV in the Dutch

city of Breda, using it as a base for parts supply for after-sales services, the company said in a statement.

"The new unit is expected to help Ssangyong Motor significantly win sales by increasing the level of our

after-sales services," Ssangyong Motor Chief Executive Choi Hyeong-tak said in the statement.

However, the company didn't say when the unit will open and officials at Ssangyong Motor's Seoul office

weren't immediately available for comment.
