The first SsangYong korando SUV codenamed C200 which was locally assembled in Sri Lanka by the well known car manufacturing company, micro cars limited was presented to his Excellency the president Mahinda Rajapakse by Chairman/ CEO Dr Lawrence Perera at a ceremony held at the president’s house recently. Transport Minister Hon. Kumara Welgama, Engineering and Development Minister Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Secretary to Treasury/Finance Ministry Dr P.B.Jayasundara and Chairman of Ideal Motors Mr. Naline Welgama were some of the dignitaries present at this occasion. Today micro cars has been able to deliver another unique, quality, modern and stylish SUV called the korando to the impending car market in Sri Lanka .
