SsangYong España S.A., the official distributor of SsangYong Motor Company in Spain, sponsored Sailing World Championship 2014 Santander, which was held at Santander, Spain from September 5 to 21, 2014

Sailing World Championship is the world’s biggest sailing championship which is held every four years in different countries. This year, over 1400 sailors with more than 1,000 boats representing 80 nations attended.

SsangYong España as the official sponsor provided transportation support for sailors and VIPs with Rodius, Rexton and Korando, which were also displayed around event areas during competition. Every race attracted thousands of spectators and viewers from 105 countries also watched the event.

Sales of SsangYong vehicles this year are expected to reach around 3,000 units, which is an increase by 40% compared to last year. In the meantime, SsangYong España recently won Dealer Management Award at the 2014 SsangYong Global Distributor Conference.
