SsangYong’s compact SUV Tivoli received the top score in 2015 Korean New Car Assessment Program (KNAP), the automotive safety test conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).

Five local and imported new models released in H1 2015 were tested in the categories of crash safety, passenger protection, driving performance and accident prevention. The Tivoli earned high scores, 91.9 points out of 100. Especially, the vehicle scored the highest points among tested vehicles, 65.8 points out of 100 in the crash safety test. It is also the highest among leisure vehicles since 2013 when the current evaluation methods were introduced.
